Do you like skiing or snowboard? Then join this meet up for skiing in Andorra at GrandValira Ski Resort.

I'm in contact with a ski tours company that offers interesting tour packages at very competitive prices.

We'll depart from Barcelona in the afternoon at February 12th. We will stay at the Hotel Ransol (***) (Solana de Ransol. Pueblo de Ransol. AD100).

That weekend is a high season weekend, therefore I could not book double rooms for everybody. I've booked 4 double rooms and 4 four-bed rooms. The final price is different depending if you are in a double (149 EUR/person) or a four-bed room (127 EUR/person) including:
* Ski passes for 2 days
* Breakfast for both days
* Saturday's dinner (I could not book without it)
* Travel and skiing insurance

For the room assignment, I suggest the following (that we can discuss):

* Four-bed (127 EUR/person): Mel, Natalia, Daniel, Carlos

We can discuss this suggestion if you want something to be changed. I tried to get more double rooms but it was not possible. I'm sorry.

IMPORTANT!!! Please read the following information carefully!!!

In order to make the skiing weekends go smoother, we will assign everyone to a car depending on the car space and equipment people are bringing. Each car will carry the same people and equipment to Andorra and back to Barcelona in order to make the traveling easier. Car drivers should organize with their passengers departures from the hotel to the ski lift, return to the hotel and departure time back to Barcelona. Car driver should organize the driving cost splitting too (around 95 EUR for regular cars).

DEPARTING FROM PALAU REIAL at 8:30 p.m.:
* Ánchel's car: Anchel (1 Snowboard), Kyoko (rental), Rob + Guest (1 Snowboard)
* Jaime's car: Jaime (rental), Monika (1 Snowboard), François (rental), Natalia (rental)
* Stephane's car: Stephane (rental), Mel (Skis), Kim (rental)

DEPARTING FROM PALAU REIAL AT 6 p.m.:
* Ilonka's car: Ilonka (rental), Carlos (rental), Daniel (rental), Tim (rental)
* Fede's car: Fede (rental), Ellie (Skis), Viktor (rental)

DEPARTING DIRECTLY TO THE HOTEL:
* Tatiana's car: Tatiana & Rafal (rental)
* Stefan's car: Stefan (1 Snowboard), Claudia (rental), Martina + Marc (1 Snowboard)

The following is a general schedule of the weekend:

Friday:
-Everyone to meet at Palau Reial at 20:30
-All cars to arrive at the hotel on their own

Saturday:
-8:00 Breakfast
-8:30 Depart hotel to go to rental shops
-8:30 Gondola opens to get up on the mountain
-9:00 Pistes open
-Whatever time you get up on the mountain to 12:30--Skiing
-12:30 Meet at the Restaurant/Lodge SOLANELLES in CORTALS to have lunch/break
-Skiing until 16:00-17:00 (Depending on weather)
-21:00 Dinner at the hotel restaurant

Sunday:
-8:00 Breakfast
-8:30 Depart hotel and go directly to the gondola (lift)
-Whatever time you get up on the mountain to 12:30--Skiing
-12:30 Meet at the Restaurant/Lodge SOLANELLES in CORTALS to have lunch/break
-Skiing until 15:00-16:00

Each car should coordinate what time they want to leave Andorra. If you depart Andorra before 16:00, you should arrive in Barcelona by 20:00. If you depart Andorra after 17:00, you will not arrive in Barcelona before 22:00. This is up to the driver and the passengers to decide on their own.

The steps in order to help me to organize this event are the following:

• Join this event (or the Waiting list) and tell in your comment which equipment are you going to bring with you (maybe not all the cars can carry all the equipment)
  
• If you are coming by car, tell me which equipment could you bring with your car
  
• I will close this meet up on January 27th.
  
• I will request you for some data that I'll need for the reservation and I'll send you a bank account number and the money you have to transfer.
  
• On February 1st I will proceed with the reservation and I will confirm you all as soon as possible.
  
• If you cancel this event you will get the following money back:
  • 95% if you cancel up to 10 days before
    
  • 85% if you cancel up to 3 days before
    
  • 75% if you cancel up to 2 days before
    
  • 0% if you cancel the day before
    
  
  

Notice that the procedure to join skiing weekends is different. Before I change your RSVP to Yes, I have to know which equipment you are going to bring with you, because maybe there is no space in the cars. Therefore, if you are interested, join the Waiting List and tell me in your comment which equipment you are going to bring with you.
Please add in the comment of your RSVP if you are going to bring gear or rent it. It is very important to be able to manage the space in the cars. If I can not see clearly which gear you (and your guest) are going to bring, you are going to lose your position at the waiting list.

If you need a skiing teacher you can attend the Skiing and Snowboard School at GrandValira (not included in the reservation).
