Introduction
I love hiking but almost never go, and I would like to socialize more.

Which experience do you have in hiking and other mountain and outdoor sports?
I have done two hiking vacations (with backpack, going from hut to hut) and one rock climbing vacation in the Alps (in France and Austria) with the NKBV (dutch hiking asociation), and spent some other holidays in the mountains hiking with friends. I tend to avoid technical hikes and only do routes where no ropes or equipment or needed (because I prefer just to enjoy the scenery and the exercise). I have some experience with respect to the physical demands of (non-technical) hiking and with different terrain types (boulder fields, small loose rocks, walking past steep slopes) but I am not "someone with knowledge or expertise". I have done some rock-climbing in Barcelona for a few months (once every two weeks).
